Grim recovery of Ark. flood victims nears its end

LANGLEY, Ark. (AP) - The grim recovery of bodies from flash flooding that tore through a western Arkansas campground is coming to a close.

Rescue crews plan a limited search Tuesday of the Albert Pike Recreation Area. Meanwhile, officials are waiting for DNA tests to confirm that a young girl killed by rising waters early Friday was the final victim.

She was one of 20 people killed when a wall of water came rushing through the campground after a heavy storm.

Arkansas State Police say they're confident the girl was the last to have been killed by the floodwaters. They said they think many others first feared missing were camping in other parts of the state, without cell phone coverage.
