Petraeus rushed from hearing room

WASHINGTON (AP) - Gen. David Petraeus (Pah-TRAY-us) has been rushed from a Senate hearing room.

Testifying before the Senate Armed Services Committee, Petraeus had finished answering a question by Sen. John McCain. McCain was responding when the senator stopped talking suddenly and aides began crowding around Petraeus.

Petraeus, walking without assistance, was then escorted quickly out of the room. His spokesman could not be immediately reached.
