5 dead after shooting in Miami-area restaurant

HIALEAH, Fla. (AP) - Miami-area police say a gunman shot and killed four people at a restaurant and wounded three others before killing himself.

Hialeah police spokesman Carl Zogby says the Sunday night shooting began in the parking lot of the mall containing the restaurant.

The shooting happened after the man was seen arguing with a woman in the parking lot. Police say the man shot the woman, then walked into the restaurant and opened fire.

After the shooting, police say the man got into a vehicle and drove away. He was found a few blocks away dead of an apparent suicide.

Police did not immediately release any names and did not have a motive for the shootings.
