Police: Aborted fetus buried after Pa. teen raped

KUNKLETOWN, Pa. (AP) - A Pennsylvania man has been charged with raping a 13-year-old neighbor who got pregnant and burying the body after the girl performed a home abortion.

Police say 30-year-old Michael James Lisk buried the body on Saturday in woods near his home in Kunkletown in eastern Pennsylvania. Police say Lisk told them he suspected he got the girl pregnant.

The girl told investigators she had attempted an abortion on herself days earlier and the baby was stillborn. She went to a hospital, and medical workers contacted police.

Lisk was arraigned Monday on charges of rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, concealing the death of a child and abuse of a corpse. He is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
